The intrepid Abergs traveled to Pittsburgh (for Barb's and Ian's birthdays) to watch their beloved Steelers play in late October. Little did they know that several months later a 6th Super Bowl would be brought back to the Steel City.

Multnomah Falls
On the way back to Boise we stopped at Multnomah Falls with the kids. I wasn't sure how it was going to go since the kids were exhausted. However, they both loved it. Aidan kept holding his hand out like he was holding things up it the background. The last time he did it there happened to be a girl jumping in the background.
OMSI Portland, OR
Ian planned a trip to OMSI after we left the Coast. We stayed right in Portland and went to the Museum after taking Christy to the Airport. The kids were tired but we pulled it off.
Lake Krest 2008
After the Farries Family reunion we went to Lincoln City and stayed on Devils Lake in Lincoln City, Oregon. After all the years that we have gone to the coast, I never knew there was a lake in Lincoln City. Our trip their was truely relaxing. We spent time on the lake kayaking and "fishing" with a plastic fish. All of the Kids put on music programs for us that were quite comical. My cousin Jen put together all the details and she did an awesome job, Thanks Jen. We also took a few trips to Newport to visit the Sea Lions and the OREGON COAST AQUARIUM. It was really hard to leave. I could have spent another week there.
Farries Family Reunion in Newberg
My Uncle Don hosted our family reunion in his new home in Newberg. What a beautiful place with an amazing view of the valley. Thank goodness for the trampoline that kept most of the children entertained for most of the day! It turned out to be a perfect day, the weather was awesome!!
First Day of School 2008
Chloe and Aidan just began year round school. School started on July 23rd for them. As you can tell by their faces they were pretty excited. Surprisingly, Aidan loves school. Chloe is very motherly with him at recess. She tells me that she goes around with him on the playground and helps him on the toys. It is such a strange feeling to have them both in School. The time has flown by so fast.

Potholes, Washington
Our family just finished a camping week with Rob and Nikki in Potholes, Washington. It is amazing how fast babies grow up. Olivia was cruising around the campsite with the biggest smile on her face. It is clear that Olivia's favorite thing is her dog, Nilla. Kendra also amazes me. I remember her crawling into my bed when she was one and two. Now she is taller than me and she drives my mini-van.
Chloe and Aidan experienced their first boating adventures. Chloe is our star innertuber! Once she got on the tube it was hard to get her off! Aidan went once but didn't want to go anymore.
T-Ball 2008
We just finished Aidan and Kai's first T-ball season. Dana and I were the coaches. I am so glad that we decided to coach. The first couple of games were questionable but by the end of the season the players were throwing and hitting much better.

Our "Baby" turns 5
Aidan had an extended 5th birthday. We spent his birthday weekend with Uncle Rob and Aunt Nikki in Yakima camping. A week later Aidan took his cousins Mitchell and Kai and his good friend Brandon to Boondocks. He couldn't wait to play "Major" golf, Aidan's way of saying miniture golf. His first shot was a hole in one. I love to watch the joy on Aidan's face when he gets to play with his friends. Not a day goes by that he doesn't ask if someone can come over.
